I think they have great potential to deliver on this mission given the right funding and support, allowing them to propel research and scale up production and reach.

Many technologies are seeking to tap into the “electrical superhighway” that is the Vagus nerve to either help improve mental wellbeing e.g. depression and anxiety or to reduce procrastination and improve productivity in the workplace among numerous other health issues.
There is a large market for such products as well; social media is awash with adverts for biohacking, ways to jump start your brain to be more productive and feel better. Search “Vagus nerve hacks" on TikTok and you will be bombarded with examples of these tips.
